About Brian Burton
Accomplished governance and risk management executive with extensive experience leading people, operations, and projects in large, complex organizations. Proven track record managing diverse, cross-functional teams delivering cutting-edge solutions, driving efficiencies, revenue, and growth. Passionate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) champion, with strong communication and negotiation skills, able to forge deep, consensus-building relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders. Strategic thinker, proficient in ESG and Sustainability frameworks, standards and reporting requirements (e.g, SBTi, GHG Protocol, SASB, GRI, UNPRI, ISSB, TCFD, and SDGs). Outside of work, I am an avid skier, scuba diver, and all-around nature lover. I especially enjoy adventure travel and recently explored the ice caves of the Vatnajökull Glacier in Iceland, dove along the coral reefs of French Polynesia, and abseiled Table Mountain in Capetown, South Africa.
