As a Media Consultant for the Atlanta Department of Transportation, I lead strategic content creation and media outreach efforts that support the department’s public communication goals. My role bridges digital storytelling, brand consistency, and community engagement through visual media and social platforms.Key Responsibilities:Produce and deliver high-quality video reels and/or photo assets weekly to support transportation initiatives and public messaging.Serve in a multi-faceted role including Media Relations Specialist, Social Media Content Coordinator, and Multimedia Journalist.Develop and execute digital content strategies that amplify ATLDOT’s visibility across social media platforms.Capture and edit on-site video/photo content to highlight infrastructure projects, public safety campaigns, and community events.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with citywide brand standards and public service goals.Track engagement metrics and adjust visual strategies based on audience response and analytics.
