Here\'s a little about me:I am a mid-level software engineering professional, pursuing a role at LinkedIn India currently. My primary area of competence is backend and infra software development, primarily in Java. I bring a rich set of skills and experience in designing and developing low latency GraphQL and REST APIs, highly scalable and performant micro-services and asynchronous ETL jobs for medium scale data. In my previous role at PayPal India, I was co-building and enhancing the backend system of PayPal\'s proprietary instrumentation quality, discovery, and governance platform with my team. The platform served all the product teams at PayPal to instrument their products in a quality intensive way to acquire business relevant customer/user behavioral data, in a billion unit scale, through various legally compliant and regulated channels. The platform also ensured high quality data acquisition for performing analytics and generating insights to build better products with high value proposition and serve PayPal users globally with delightful user experience. Infrastructure as Code at LinkedIn ~ Co-led a cross-functional, multi-organizational initiative to develop a fully automated deployment pipeline, delivering a cohesive schema and code deployment experience. The empirical projected outcomes include saving over 600 hours of manual developer effort annually, enabling 1,800+ automated schema deployments per year, and preventing 4 outages annually. Spearheaded the adoption of this pipeline across 130+ LinkedIn products, with 120+ additional products in the queue.~ Led operational excellence initiative for the team by onboarding 20 control plane services to LinkedIn\'s SLO tracking platform, defined SLOs and SLAs for the services, created dashboard to track deployment freshness of services, reviewed the efforts of other teams in the similar space.~ Co-building Infrastructure as Code capabilities from scratch for LinkedIn at global scale leveraging Crossplane and Kubernetes, in collaboration with multiple orgs at various geo locations for platform infrastructure (non-compute) resources such as databases, ACLs, pub-sub systems, etc. Delivered some initial proof of concepts including composable infrastructure support using XRDs, Crossplane controller packaging and certificates-based authentication.
