ABOUT BISWAJYOTI BANERJEE

I am a broadcast media professional with an experience of over 10 years in FM radio. My radio career spans across three Asian markets i.e. India, Bangladesh and the UAE with top radio brands such as Radio Mirchi, Channel 4 Radio Network, Dubai, Radio Foorti and Red FM. My domain expertise includes setting up of radio stations, managing content and talents, handling programming and administration for CHR radio stations. I have successfully designed, developed and executed promotional campaigns for global brands such as Airtel, Telenor, Coca Cola and so on. Skilled in forging strategic partnerships with other media e.g. TV, print, digital etc to harvest reach and revenue. Proficient in executing relevant and organic activation properties to promote brands and generate additional business. Provide topical, engaging and original content on Twitter and facebook pages of the station. Assist the RJs in managing their social media handles.Colleagues know me as a highly creative professional who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. But I know that the client’s business comes first, and my past experience has taught me to rely less on \'experience\' and more on fresh ideas. Also, never to miss the \'context\' and \'relevance\' for everything I plan and do. So I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.My passion is finding new, more powerful and profitable ways of getting more consumers through creative radio content.
