I have spent over 21 years working across large energy organizations, mainly in roles that sit between corporate strategy and real-world execution.In my current role with Shell, I am involved in the post-acquisition integration of Sprng Energy, a renewable energy platform, where my work focuses on aligning governance frameworks, operating standards, and ways of working between the corporate centre and the business teams. A big part of my role is making sure that what looks good on paper actually works on the ground across different functions, geographies, and stakeholder groups.Over the years, I have increasingly found myself drawn to enterprise-level work - integration, operating model design, alignment across entities, and large-scale change programs. I enjoy roles where the challenge is less about running one function well and more about getting many moving parts to work together in a coherent way.Before moving into transformation and integration roles, I spent a significant part of my career in downstream network development and commercial operations with BPCL and Shell. That background gives me a very practical perspective when working on corporate or group-level initiatives - I tend to think in terms of how decisions will actually land with operating teams, not just how they look in presentations.I am currently completing an MBA at SPJIMR, which is helping me formalise some of the strategic and business thinking that I have developed through experience. Going forward, I am interested in roles that operate at a group or portfolio level, where the focus is on integration, alignment, and long-term value creation across complex organizations.
