ABOUT BISWAJIT DAS

Biswajit Das is a “Single Window” Operation professional in the Social Sector; with twenty seven years’ experience across several International development organizations, donor agencies, bi-lateral agencies and CSR in India and overseas, in Administration, Logistics, Procurement, Events Management and General Human Resources. His working in different locations in India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Bangladesh, UAE and sub-Saharan Africa in mid and senior level have given him a good understanding and strong background knowledge in all matters of organization/project administration, logistics, procurement and general human resources management. He is well versed in both start-up and closures of ventures. Biswajit is also proficient in personnel counselling. From 2004, he has been in Senior Management Team of all organizations worked for. Biswajit has an extremely pleasant and amiable personality with a cool and composed behavioral pattern on the face of any adversity. He is skilled in handling adverse situations in administration, logistics, procurement, events management and general human resources and can evolve sustainable solutions to critical problems. One of Biswajit’s niche areas is developing a second line leadership and in the process, he has had groomed and mentored many young talents. His ability to work with cross functional teams, coupled with excellent inter-personal relationships, and an incisive capability of quick decision-making have been the hallmarks of his operations. Biswajit is an alumni of St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, with specialization in Accountancy (Three Years’ Full Time) and Diploma in Public Relations (One Year Full Time) from Birla Institute of Liberal Arts and Management Sciences, Kolkata. His goal is to continue to develop his management and technical skills and apply these in areas where these are most useful and rewarding. Biswajit’s intention is to make a difference wherever he belongs.
