Leadership Development including but not limited to development and communication of a passionate vision for worship ministry to ministry leaders, staff, and the church at large; consistently evaluate effectiveness of worship ministry, being a catalyst for positive change when and where needed; model Christ-like leadership to the worship ministry leaders and church; recruit, train, and develop volunteer worship ministry leaders; promote value of worship ministry to potential and current church leadership; plan and implement worship ministry training opportunities; develop expanding and reproducing worship ministry leadership teams, with various levels of supervision; work under the direction of the Senior Pastor and with the staff to create and operate under the provisions of a worship ministries budget; provide oversight in planning and implementation of the following activities: worship services, including music, arts, drama, multi-media, and technical arts; adult, children’s and youth worship groups including choirs, ensembles, and bands. Encourage and model personal devotions and corporate prayer in all worship teams, provide oversight given for other worship activities such as concerts, conventions, and seasonal worship events. Additionally responsible for planning and administering all aspects of worship arts, budgeting and expenditures; lead the worship planning team; champion worship ministry throughout the church; evaluate worship weekly and implement corrective measures and supply worship ministry staff as needed.
