ABOUT BISHAN WEBESHETE
Hello my name is Bishan, and I am a Software Engineer who is skilled and passionate in JavaScript, React, Node, and PostgreSQL. Prior to web development, I was a sociology major at UCSB fulfilling pre-requisite courses for med-school. After coming to the realization that I was pursuing a career in something that I was not truly passionate about, I concluded that I could never be the best version of myself unless I was doing something that I truly wanted to do.I decided to switch careers into software engineering because I realized that it was something that I had a passion for, and truly looked forward to doing on a daily basis. My favorite aspect of programming is that it is like solving a puzzle and comes with many adversities that allow you to grow as a professional and a person. It is difficult to get \'bored\' when coding because there is always a new challenge, and I find it very stimulating and rewarding to find the solutions.My technical strengths include but are not limited to HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Express, Node, PostgreSQL and React. During my time at LearningFuze I learned to work efficiently in an immersive cohort that is designed to mimic a work like environment, learning technologies that are most in demand in the marketplace. Through this experience I have learned the importance of time-management, communication, prioritization, and cultural awareness.I am looking for a full-stack position where I can make significant contributions to my company and continue to grow.
