Birkel spent 10 distinctive years at Forsyth Tech, teaching hundreds of people how to create resumes, interview, negotiate salary, conduct networking, & effectively job search. He conducted weekly “Job Search Boot Camps,\" targeting Discouraged Workers. At one point, the New York Times reported that in one month there over were Discouraged Americans. In response, CNN anchor John King & crew travelled to NC to film at Professionals In Transition® to capture its unique program.Birkel also built a career in marketing management for over 22 years w/leading Fortune 500 Corporations, including Sara Lee, Dillard\'s (Higbee\'s) & Macy\'s (May Company)He earned a BA from Cleveland State University.
