Starting as an engineer, getting into Human Resources - everything is possible as long as you are always fully commited to what you do! According to the path-goal theory during my career I have always been open for new challanges - even if these meant the harder way to go. But it gave me the chance - based on a technical education - to first gain solid knowledge and experiences in maunfacturing and product development before I started to broaden my job experience and to concentrate more on the meaning of the human element. Today I can recourse to a broad knowledge which is of high value for many things in life, not only for my job. I recognized that a continous willingness to learn, flexibility, motivation and determination do pay off. It has also been important that I identified and used my strengths: analytical thinking, organizing ability,interpersonal effectiveness, leadership and teamwork. I am already curious what else will be possible.
