With 30+ years of work experience, I am a Leader, Tax & Economic Policy at EY India, where I lead the policy initiative for indirect taxes, global trade, incentives, sustainability, and other sectoral issues. I have a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from the University of Chicago, with a focus on economic policy.Prior to joining EY, I spent 15 years as a part of the Indian Civil Services, where I had the opportunity to help people and make a positive impact in various capacities. At EY, I have been instrumental in supporting advocacy for major industry associations, leading media interactions on GST and other indirect taxes, and being a member of the focus group of the Tax Administrative Reforms Commission appointed by the Government of India. I am passionate about challenging myself, learning new things, and providing innovative solutions to complex policy problems.
