Provide key strategic Engineering advice, assessments, and recommendations for projects within the Green Hydrogen (GH2) business pipeline. Ensure alignment with the business\'s strategic investment plan, delivering projects on time, within budget, to the required quality standards. Adhere to industry best practices while prioritising Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) considerations to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.Responsible for overseeing project design activities, collaborating with internal/external multinational design teams, ensuring alignment with company design management procedures. Accountable for managing interfaces to identify, document the risks and addressing them appropriately in design and contract arrangements. Additionally, tasked with defining and implementing the certification strategy for sustainable hydrogen technology, ensuring effective management of the certification process with independent verification bodies to minimise design risks and maximise asset value.Develop and maintain a strategic plan for the inspection and commissioning of critical components of all Green Hydrogen (GH2) plants, ensuring assets are delivered and installed to meet required quality and engineering standards. Serve as a key member of the Project Management Committee, collaborating with the Hydrogen Director and Heads of Projects to evaluate and approve key project and strategic decisions, ensuring optimal investment value.
