About Joyce Xu
Hi! I’m Joyce, a Master of Financial Engineering student studying at UC Berkeley Haas. I also recently graduated from UCLA with a double major in Mathematics/Economics and Statistics. I have always been passionate about applying my quantitative skills and knowledge to tackle real-world financial challenges. During my quantitative research internships, I identified trading alphas, constructed backtesting models, optimized factor performances, and employed machine learning techniques to build trading strategies. I also have ample experience analyzing large financial datasets associated with indexes and mutual funds when working as a quantitative investment intern.
