ABOUT BING MALETZ

Random Facts About I am a native Chinese and have been living in oversea since 1995 (5 years in USA; 20+years in Germany).2. Most of my colleagues and friends think that I am logical, easy going and zero-political.3. My biggest asset is passion, curiosity, analytical and result oriented thinking; my biggest shortcoming is impatience (especially towards tangled/looped discussions).4. I am opinionated, however not stubborn. I love a good argument. I adore quick wit and rational thinking. Logical arguments and smart/humorous come back can swing my opinion quickly.5. I appreciate data/probability driven decision much more than gut feeling.6. I used to be a strong advocator of SAP and Microsoft solutions until I discovered Salesforce Force.com (thanks to Microsoft “Don’t be forced” campaign).7. I consider myself a fan of Salesforce rather than a merely employee. I designed and developed my first Salesforce CRM solution for my previous employer (Novartis) mostly in my spare time.8. My greatest career strength is my cross functional process & system knowledge (e.g. Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Service Delivery, Finance.) in multiple industry sectors (high-tech, service, pharmaceutical, electrical and mechanical). It has enabled me to effectively guide business owners to re-engineer their process and/or transform it into digitised solution.9 I found the biggest challenge in agile project is to defend “future proofing” architecture design.\"Future Proofing\" means to design a solution that will continue to be useful or successful in the future if the requirement changes. In another word,\"Future Proofing\" is intended to tackle the requirement that is non-existent today, however is anticipated in the future. The ability to design future proofing solutions is a critical architect skill.10. As a coincidence, I am working for a SaaS company to fulfil my SaaS hobby (Shopping as a Sport)
