I am a lead mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience: 29 in R&D, and 25 of those in leadership roles. I lead successful diverse, cross functional teams from initial concept through product development and into production (both high and low volume). My personal skills include project and program management, small mechanism design, structural design, electro-mechanical design, cosmetic design, reliability testing and qualification, and failure analysis. My teams typically include, or partner with, product architects, system integration, mechanical, electrical, firmware, design, human factors, manufacturing, and marketing.

   Apr 1996 — Present

   Architect the design of a high speed, high reliabilty input devices. Lead a team of ME\'s in the delivery of said input devices. Partner with other leads in EE, manufacturing, firmware, and procurement to define system deliverables and coordinate feature implementation, hardware delivery, and verification protocols. Set subsystem design, build, test, and system integration schedules. Partner with management to define system goals and verification benchmarks.
