SUMMARY: Over 20+ years of experience leading in vitro and in vivo pharmacology teams and developing novel multi-specific antibody and cell therapy programs. Strong record of accomplishment in developing translational studies that link preclinical pharmacology to clinical development strategies in research areas of immunology, oncology, and inflammation. Extensive experience managing and mentoring teams, collaborating in a matrixed environment (Regulatory, Toxicology, CMC, Clinical, and Program Management teams), and leading early discovery programs to IND. HIGHLIGHTS Spearheaded Carisma’s milestone nomination of the first in vivo CAR-M development candidate targeting glypican-3 for hepatocellular carcinoma under our joint collaboration with Moderna. Study director accountable for executing definitive pharmacology/toxicology & PK/PD studies in addition to authoring IND-enabling study reports for Sana’s first allogeneic CAR-T product, SC291 and In Vivo CAR-T gene therapy program, SG295. Devised and developed all preclinical in vivo pharmacology studies for Regeneron’s first bispecific antibody, REGN1979 (CD20xCD3; odronextamab, Ordspono™), leading to a successful IND filing and initiation of a Phase I Clinical trial for patients with NHL and CLL. Ordspono™ approved in patients with R/R FL and diffuse DLBCL by the European Commission. Designed and led preclinical in vivo pharmacology studies for REGN1979 (Ordspono™)+ REGN2810 (PD-1; Libtayo®) and REGN5458 (BCMAxCD3; linvoseltamab) Inventor on thirteen patents in the areas of targeted imaging and drug delivery in oncology and inflammation, bispecific technology, humanized mouse models, and CAR technologySpecialties: tumor immunology, inflammation, toll-like receptors, adaptive immunity, innate immunity, immunotherapy, antibody therapy, small-molecule drug design and delivery, costimulatory and coinhibitory molecules, imaging, adoptive T cell transfer therapy, mouse and human cancer systems, mouse and human T cell subsets, CAR-T & CAR-M therapy, cell therapy, gene therapy
