ABOUT BINARI PERERA

I believe that we, as humans, don\'t buy \"stuff.\".We buy when we are captivated and engaged to the point that we drop whatever it is we\'re doing and say, ‘Oh, heck yes. I need me some of THAT.’ I firmly believe we need to be moved. And so I help people and brands hatch new brands, hone and express their existing brands, and on exceptionally good days, create positive change in the world.I’m not your average Art Director. Of course, I take pride in every pixel, dream of color-coordinated closets, believe that happiness is a stack of unread magazines, and books should indeed be judged by their covers. I enjoy bringing brand strategies to life through physical spaces, products, web sites, systems, experiences, apps, communications. I am however at my happiest when I’m creating things that bypass the brain’s radar and go straight to the heart. In a nutshell, my passion for designing and art directing is coupled with a love for understanding the big-picture driving brands and consumer behaviors. I’m the Art Director who enjoys all the aspects of being a creative—the planing, the ideating, and the designing. This is what I do best and love most. To look at my work, please visit When I\'m not designing, I like to travel and meet new people and learn about new cultures. I often draw inspirations for my projects from my travels. I also enjoy painting, especially hyper realistic renditions of food. I will most certainly paint for food as well!
