I am a dual-qualified Corporate and Energy Lawyer (Canada & New York) with a deep focus on Derivatives, Securities, and Capital Markets, helping organizations navigate complex legal and financial ecosystems with clarity and precision.My experience spans the energy, infrastructure, and financial sectors, where I structure and negotiate high-value transactions that balance regulatory integrity with commercial impact. Over the years, I’ve worked across diverse markets to support derivative transactions, securities offerings, and M&A deals, ensuring legal compliance while enabling business growth.At TC Energy, I advise on commercial marketing and energy solutions, where law meets trading, governance, and strategic execution. My work involves crafting and reviewing ISDA, NAESB, and master trading agreements, supporting risk teams in derivatives structuring, and aligning energy market operations with financial regulations.Previously, I served in securities and M&A practice at Fang & Associates, guiding clients through reverse takeovers, private placements, and joint ventures. I also bring early in-house counsel experience managing litigation, contracts, and corporate governance within international organizations.Holding an MBA from Cornell and Queen’s University and an LLM in Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, I approach every mandate with both legal precision and commercial insight, translating complexity into confidence for decision-makers.I’m particularly interested in how derivatives, ESG frameworks, and regulatory innovation are redefining corporate strategy, and how lawyers can shape this evolution not just as risk managers, but as strategic enablers.
