ABOUT BIMPE AYOOLA

I am a Software Solutions Specialist and Doctoral Researcher with over a decade of experience bridging technical expertise, project leadership, and applied research. My career has spanned software engineering, IT project management, and academic research, with a consistent focus on delivering solutions that are both technically robust and socially responsible. As a software engineer, I have led and delivered complex projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies, driving products from concept through launch. My technical toolkit includes Java (Spring Boot & Spring MVC), JavaScript, database design and management, RESTful and SOAP APIs, enterprise integration, and DevOps practices. Beyond coding, I bring a proven ability to manage teams, align stakeholders, and ensure that technology outcomes serve organizational and community goals. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Software Engineering at Dalhousie University, where my research focuses on integrating human and social values into the software development. I design interventions, frameworks, and training approaches that support social sustainability in software, ensuring systems are not only efficient but also equitable, inclusive, and aligned with long-term societal well-being. Looking ahead, I am positioned for opportunities where I can leverage my combined expertise in technology, research, and leadership to shape software solutions and digital strategies that drive innovation, sustainability, and positive impact at scale.
