In the fall of 2007, Bill took over as President of McMahon Insurance Agency. Bill brings an energy to this leadership position and inspires employees to treat clients with white-glove-service. One of Bill’s proudest moments was when the agency received the “Agent of the Year” award the after Hurricane Sandy from the National Flood Insurance Program. Bill was also awarded “Director of the Year” from Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey in 2013. Bill’s business savvy and impressive reputation landed McMahon Insurance Agency an invitation to join the very prestigious New Jersey Agents Alliance (NJAA). McMahon Insurance Agency is now a founding member and reiterates their core beliefs dedicating unparalleled expertise to customers. Serving the community is a passion. Bill is a board member and past president (20••••16) of Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, serves on the board of the NJ Professional Insurance Agents, and is also on the board of the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation helping to raise money for scholarships. Bill values relationships with everyone he meets and is proudly involved in many charitable events and organizations such as: The Hero Campaign, CASA for Children, O.C.Y.A.A, Special Olympics NJ, The American Cancer Society, For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund, Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School, LaSalle Academy, and Peyton’s Promise. Bill holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR), and Certified Workers Compensation Associate designations (CWCA).
