Since 2005, I’ve built 20+ years across public/government relations, Vietnamese media, translation & interpreting, digital marketing (SEO), IT support, and voice work. I’m a public information and community outreach leader at the County of Orange who turns complex programs and policies into clear, culturally aware communications so residents can access services quickly.In my role, I lead research and analysis for department leadership; develop evidence-based recommendations; and manage projects within larger initiatives. I build standardized communication toolkits (templates, FAQs, style/voice guides), drive social, web, and SEO strategy, and coordinate multi-channel campaigns that improve consistency, reach, and measurable impact. As a bilingual (Vietnamese/English) communicator, I specialize in community-centered messaging—especially with Vietnamese refugee communities—grounding every update in accuracy, empathy, and access.I also serve as an on-call Vietnamese interpreter during emergency activations—for public agencies and private organizations—supporting incident briefings, hotlines, shelters, and rapid public information with culturally precise language. Beyond government, I advise private companies on local community dynamics and connect them with the right public, nonprofit, faith-based, and media partners to meet resident needs and build trust.
