Billy is a Partner in the Kingsport, Tennessee office and the Practice Leader of Construction Services and Business Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Services. Billy was also located in our Roanoke Valley and Shenandoah Valley offices for 8 years, respectively. He has extensive experience with construction companies,including general contractors, heavy highway, and specialty trade. Billy has provided assurance and consulting services to construction companies ranging in size from $1Mto $1B in annual revenue.Billy graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Minor in Criminal Justice. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Construction Financial Management Association including the Blue Ridge and Knoxville chapters, the Associated General Contractors of Virginia and Tennessee, and the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance. Billy is a frequent speakers at local, regional and national events on the topics of construction, ESOP\'s and business valuations. Billy is one thirteen CCIFP’s in the firm’s construction practice. Brown Edwards is ranked in the Top 10 in the Country in terms of the number of CCIFP’s on staff and has more CCIFP’s than any other firm in the Mid-Atlantic region. Billy is also Accredited in Business Valuation by the AICPA.Billy has twice been named a \"Super CPA\" by Virginia Business magazine, was awarded CFMA\'s \"40 Under 40\" in 2021, and named one of the \"Top 10 Business People - Under 40\" by the Shenandoah Valley Business Journal.
