About William Rivera
Since December 2015, I have served as Senior Vice President for Litigation at AARP Foundation, where I lead and provide strategic direction for AARP Foundation Litigation, a public interest law firm. We advocate nationwide for the rights of people age 50 and older, litigating and filing amicus briefs in cases involving, among other things: employment discrimination, employee benefits, long-term care, consumer protection, and elder justice.

NITA, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is a dedicated team of professors, judges, and practicing lawyers who believe that skilled and ethical advocacy is a critical component of legal professionalism and all systems of dispute resolution that seek justice. As a NITA faculty member, I teach trial and deposition skills to practicing lawyers who want to become more effective advocates for their clients and causes.
