Billy O\'Brien is Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Flutter Entertainment, the world\'s largest sports betting and gaming operator and parent company to brands such as FanDuel, Sky Betting & Gaming, Sportsbet, PokerStars and Paddy Power. Prior to joining Flutter, he was CISO at News Corp, parent company to industry-leading media and information services brands including Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, Harper Collins, The Times of London, The Australian, Realtor.com and Foxtel.Billy has previously held a number of cyber leadership positions, including President Bush’s Director of Cyber Security Policy and Vice President Cheney’s Special Assistant for Homeland Security at the White House; Chief Information Security Officer for Wells Fargo\'s Global Technology business; Director and Chief of Staff of Sony’s Global Information Security division; and Director of Operations for the Center for Security & Privacy at Deloitte.He is currently a member of the Amazon Web Services CISO Council; the Crowd Strike Strategic Advisory Board; the Deloitte CISO Council; and the New York University Cyber Advisory Council. Billy received his MBA from Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson School of Management and BA from the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond.
