ABOUT BILLY HACKETT

I am an advocate for a sustainable food system which creates fair opportunities for farmers and workers, brings health to families, and restores vibrancy to rural America. My roots are proudly in Florida, where I organized in solidarity with migrant farmworker communities. In the past, I served as the elected president of the world’s largest, student-led community service and civic nonprofit for college students. My unique background informs my dedication to bring underrepresented voices to the decision-making table and build bridges across difference.
