Over the past 15 years in the security and safety industry, I have progressed from frontline operational roles into senior training leadership positions. I currently work as Lead Instructor – Security & Operational Training, designing and delivering high-impact, scenario-led programmes that prepare professionals for real-world environments.In this role, I focus on developing confident, legally compliant, and operationally effective personnel through practical application, dynamic risk assessment, and strong professional standards.Previously, I was National Training Manager at Mitie, leading the design and delivery of training across major UK shopping centres. I was responsible for ensuring security and cleaning teams were not only qualified, but fully prepared to respond with confidence, competence, and professionalism in complex public-facing environments.Prior to that, I worked as a Regional Trainer within Care & Custody, delivering intensive four-week programmes for Detention and Custody Officers. This included advanced operational practices aligned with Home Office standards, building strong foundations in legal compliance, ethical decision-making, and high-risk custody operations.My career has taken me through demanding operational environments from high-risk assignments in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East to major UK events including Wimbledon, NFL London, nationwide festivals, and high-profile corporate functions.
