About Bill Cannon

As the ETF Portfolio Manager at CoinShares, I transitioned from the Head of Portfolio Management position at Valkyrie Asset Management after its acquisition. I continue to help the integration team while also supporting the product team. While at Valkyrie, I launched five ETFs and now have two more under review since joining CoinShares. One is currently the top-performing US ETF, achieving a 303% rise. I also drove more than 100% returns by investing in a large discount to NAV crypton funds.I spent over 15 years at Guggenheim Partners, my last role as Managing Director and Assistant Portfolio Manager. I co-managed our most significant client relationships and oversaw over $80B in assets under management (AUM). I supervised various fixed-income positions, including asset-backed securities, residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities, municipals, commercial mortgage loans, investment grade, high-yield corporate bonds, bank loans, and government agency-related products. Additionally, I managed securities lending programs, duration management programs, and cash management solutions.As a natural leader and relationship cultivator, I am adept at devising innovative investment solutions for complex portfolios. Early in my career, I honed my skills in data assessment, automated system creation, and company-wide deployment. My legacy at Guggenheim includes making reporting more accessible and transparent, enabling better investment solutions for clients.One of my most significant accomplishments at Guggenheim was fostering a productive and engaging work culture. I pride myself on approaching every interaction with an open mind and a willingness to mentor and coach others in their pursuits while celebrating successes. This collaborative environment contributed to our client list\'s growth from 20 to 200+, with AUM surging from $20B to $80B.Outside of work, I am an avid bass player and music enthusiast who cherishes time spent with family. I am also dedicated to giving back to the community by serving on the board of directors for my sons\' hockey teams.
