About Billy Vu
Billy graduated from the University of Maryland where he received dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Information Systems & Financial Economic with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Throughout undergrad he interned for start-ups, hedge funds, and institutional banks in areas of tech equity research and investments. After graduation Billy worked as a tech and financial consultant on two engagements. He built CFO dashboards using Power BI and other softwares to parse and clean financial data. He also did financial valuation and data compilation on bankrupt pension plans for companies like Sears and Brooks Brother. Currently he is a data analyst at EY building Power BI dashboards for executives. His work has reduced human error, increased production via automation, and improved financial transparency.
