ABOUT BILLY NEWPORT
I am currently in my final year of my degree in Accounting & Finance at the UWE. This opportunity has allowed me to develop my skills in Xero and Bloomberg, which I have certificates in both. During my time at UWE I have worked in close proximity to my colleagues through group work and presentations to create high caliber work. I have many years experience in the retail industry with large UK firms, which has really helped me build key skills such as reading body language, clear communication and excellent customer service. Alongside these jobs I have maintained my duty of a FA official on weekends. This role has allowed me to develop my leadership skills. I have accepted a role for PwC in their graduate audit intake of Autumn 2023, which I am very much looking forward to. I will be looking to develop my skills that I have picked up through my time at UWE, whilst looking to develop new ones along the way.
