ABOUT BILLY MCGUIRE
I am a Financial Services Tax Associate with Ernst & Young, assuming this role with the firm in January 2025 based out of their New York City office. My main responsibility will be working with my engagement teams completing tasks for the many clients that the firm represents, ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to private equity firms. I am also pursuing my CPA license, hoping to complete the process of passing the CPA exam by the end of the current calendar year. Pursuing this certification has always been a goal of mine, and I hope that by obtaining this certification it can help me grow as a leader and a team player in the office. Some of the additional skills that are a fabric of my foundation include a strong work ethic, possessing an analytical and forward-thinking mind, as well as being committed to forming new relationships and connections. I am also a recent Fairfield University graduate, receiving my bachelors degree in May 2024, double majoring in Finance and Sports Business with a minor in Accounting. Some of the activities and organizations I took part of during my time at Fairfield include the Fairfield Mirror, the student university newspaper, Campus Ministry, the Accounting Club, Club Running, and a variety of others.
