Senior Construction Inspector on a circa £38m upgrade to the existing 11kv HV/LV network, street lighting and new containment system for future IDS cabling throughout the site for the depot in line with the phasing diagrams, the electrical performance specification and drawings for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). The project consisting ofReplacement of the SSE incoming Substation, including removal of the existing incoming service point. New SSE incoming service to be undertaken on the grounds that the new substation will be located inside the wire in the vicinity of the existing PoD and that the service from SSE will remain as a radial supply fed from the external utility network. All services within building ISS relocated or decommissioned to enable demolition of building ISS. Design and construction of a new ISS and Generators compound, comprising DNO substation, 3x 450kva generator sets, fuel storage and delivery facilities, ISS building depot HVLV switchgear, generator controls and step up transformers, BMS an fire alarm and 4x new MDSDecommissioning of existing equipment and removal of said equipment.Overview of my role as Project Supervisor and involvement in the projectI.
