Have served My Tribe and Communities as an advocate for healthcare parity. Former CMO of Muscogee Nation who oversaw clinical operations for seven clinics, four hospitals and all ancillary services pharmacy, lab, ems, behavioral health, contracted health services covering 10 counties. Educated medical students and residents in responsibilities to their profession. Supported public service without recompense in small communities and medical exams. Developed networks among tribal CMOS and health systems. Encouraged and performed as a bridge between tribal, state and federal level health systems through personal networks. Designed educational programs with third parties and university level educational systems to pipeline STEM candidates of minority descent. Influenced dynamic systems in a 360 approach to integrating education, communities and ceremonial groups for the benefit of tribal healthcare. Served and created National groups to serve the underrepresented and disregarded minorities within minorities (LGBT). Participated in Prison relief programs for tribal members to have freedom of traditional religious rites. Interacted with state, federal and national private level entities in creating access to care and provided representation to national bodies as a Native advocate. Elected by national peers to be a voice in determining the direction of Native Heslth initiatives. Key member of executive team in expanding hospital,specialty and primary care services in third largest tribe in the US. Provided clinical insight in development of specialty programs in the first Tribal Specialty Hospital in the US. Conceived and Developed the first intertribal CMO Council in the US in order to promote a United tribal front. Tripled the size of the Medical staff at my tribe through personal interaction with each Provider and recruitment skills. Involved in research with NHLBI string Heart Study Phase One and developed a relationship with a national genetics research facility on rare diseases through strong personal and professional relationships. Imagined new payor relationships with major insurance companies to provide greater access to care.
