Cirque Bijou is one of the UK’s most experienced creators of outdoor spectacle, circus and street theatre for the commercial and public sectors. It is unique in the UK of being able to switch effortlessly between delivery of artistic creations for international rock concerts, national and international events for commercial producers, and theatre shows, arts festivals and community projects - a breadth of experience that gives the company its unique edge.

ABOUT BILLY ALWEN
Like many in the arts industry I have spent the last nine months supporting our 300 plus freelance artists, the wider circus sector, and lobbying the Government for additional support to help our arts industry survive beyond this current crisis.This hasn\'t stopped us making work. We have made a new film with our Extraordinary Bodies Company, which would have been on tour with our show What Am I worth this year. The new short film is called What Do You See In Me, and is a prologue to the touring show. We have continued with our Kitchen Circus Project with partners Knowle West Media Centre and Travelling Light Theatre Company. A film of that work will be available shortly. We have also continued our collaboration with Eden Arts in Cumbria and the 66 Project. Artists and film makers travelled along the route of the A66 with a chip van in August to film and talk to local people as they queued for their fish and chips and mushy peas. These films will also be available soon.My last major large scale work was in Taiwan earlier this year. We took out a new high wire show featuring Jade Kindar Martin and Chris Bulzini, incorporating Jade\'s amazing fire wire technology. The show was the centre piece of the Taiwan\'s National Lantern Festival, hosted this year in Taichung. We performed to over over 16 shows working with many local communities, with 80 local dancers and volunteers in the performance.
