This includes receiving and initially evaluating the color, working with the art director or photo editors in making color evaluations, image post processing editing and digital proofing.• Optimizes image quality of supplied digital images to Print most effective on its intended surface.• Works with Production, Art and Editorial to build and maintain a color workflow that meets the needs of each department now geared toward remote work and collaboration.• Manages relationships with commercial printers. • Travel to printer for press approvals.• Works closely and continuously with printer on color fidelity, and best color management practices.* Winner of Secretary\'s Award for Excellence for collaborative work on Smithsonian Book Civil War.
