   Provides manager research, including recommendations and ongoing monitoring, for all alternative strategies utilized by both traditional consulting and OCIO clients.• Oversees over $942 million in alternative investments (not including commitments) invested in over 90 alternatives funds that invest across all major sub-asset classes of alternatives such as private equity, private debt, real estate, hedge funds, other real assets including infrastructure, etc.• Employs a mixed approach for allocating to alternatives that combines top-down sub-asset class and strategy preferences with bottom-up available funds to identify alternatives funds to be approved to Alternatives platform for client\'s ongoing commitments.• Builds key Alternatives Research Team tools including the Alternatives Database, Alternatives Research Manual.• Leads the development of US Bancorp Asset Management\'s (USBAM) Strategic Alternatives Asset Allocation, a private capital approach to alternatives designed for institutional investors with long-term time horizons.• Leads development of Alternatives-related client and internal communication including RFP responses, marketing decks, etc.• Creates and co-leads Quarterly Internal Alternatives Webinar for USBAM client managers.• Educates clients and colleagues on the value of alternatives including the importance of including various sub-asset classes of alternatives in an alternatives sleeve in order to maximize diversification and the portfolio\'s risk-adjusted return. • Led first client allocations to private debt and infrastructure in 2018.• Continues to focus on private debt, private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure as particular areas of opportunity for USBAM clients.• Maintains the firm\'s strategic and tactical allocations to the underlying sub-asset classes of alternatives within our client\'s diversified portfolios by systematically introducing new funds over time, particularly illiquid alternatives.
