About Bill Stoddart

Bill Stoddart is an entrepreneur, an educator, and an innovative problem solver who brings years of experience from a variety of fields and endeavors to support individuals and organizations as they work to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for their capital resources. With a background history and government, founding two different registered investment advisory firms with a combined AUM of more than $100mm, and co-founding HomeStake, Bill has spent years building his own businesses, supplanted with a 9-month engagement as CEO of Iroquois Valley Farms. He has used those platforms to engage with families, foundations, and entrepreneurs to help them understand the various landscapes they encounter and the directions they wish to pursue. He continues to engage with clients and partners from early-stage businesses and family offices to inclusive and service-oriented capital providers, private foundations, and NGOs to help foster vibrant ecosystems and inclusive and enduring communities.Prior to his work in finance, he taught AP U.S. History, and AP U.S. and Comparative Government, along with several other courses, at Bozeman High School. He serves on several nonprofit boards in the area, including Headwaters Economics and the Common Ground Project. He also chairs the board of Seek Labs and was a Fellow in the first cohort of the Just Economy\'s Integrated Capital Institute.Bill grew up outside of Buffalo, New York and moved West after completing an extensive bicycle journey through the U.S. He lives in central Montana, and aims to adventure outdoors as much as possible. His interests include mountain biking, skiing, hiking, hunting, river trips, writing, reading and photography.
