   I serve as the primary advisor to the stakeholders and owners of closely-held and family-owned businesses, providing counsel on audit and accounting issues, business mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital funding. My clients include companies in diversified industries such as distribution, manufacturing, technology, and personal services. I enjoy assisting clients with new audit pronouncements, as well as technology matters relating to data retention, privacy, and consulting. As a certified fraud examiner I also extract and analyze data as a tool for forensic investigation of possible fraud. I am also a member of my Firm\'s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Group, a specialty practice focused on serving the audit assurance needs of retirement plans. As part of this team I provide audit assurance, consulting, and compliance counseling to private and publicly traded companies throughout the Midwest. Clark Schaefer Hackett is one of the largest regional public accounting firms in the State of Ohio.
