Bill specializes in an reportage illustration style using an on-site, sketchbook-style approach to tell a visual story using drawings and text. With this approach BIll brings people, situations and events to life.Bill\'s portraits have been appearing in a series of newspaper ads for the Marin Humane Society. As well, he created a web-based ad campaign called \'Shine\' for Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Bill applied his brand of visual journalism at Recology in San Francisco as their artist-in-residence. Some other clients include Chow.com where he drew various dishes being prepared for a bi-weekly, on-line feature called The Basics. For TODO magazine he drew cab drivers in sitiu. He also illustrated small business owners for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce\'s monthly newsletter. Bill created over 80 illustrated profiles of unique Bay area people for a Saturday feature called the Bay Folk Sketchbook in the San Francisco Chronicle. Bill spent 4 months as an artist-in-residence at Recology.
