During my 30+ years working in the UK North Sea and West Africa, of which 17 have been at a managerial or senior managerial level, I have gained extensive experience across a wide range of commercial and operations roles, ensuring contractual and commercial performance maximisation, supporting owned and Joint Venture operations, working with government agencies to develop new business and introducing supply chain efficiencies. I have led several optimisation workstreams and projects and delivered significant savings whilst maintaining operational effectiveness. My technical skills, commercial insight and project management expertise enable me to lead large multidisciplinary teams effectively and deliver meaningful results. I have been extensively involved in managing contract relations and the negotiation or renegotiation of key contracts. My experience extends to developing successful and cost-efficient supply chain strategies, implementing strategic contract management systems and delivering rationalisation projects which improve delivery whilst reducing headcount. I have been involved in the successful delivery of major projects for Shell and TAQA including the oversight of OBO activities.I am now seeking to use my comprehensive Operational and Commercial leadership experience and key technical skills to take on a new challenge in the O&G Commercial and Operations arena.
