Online and Internet pioneer-Sparked by the emergence of the personal computing industry in the 1970s, Bill co-founded the team creating the first online consumer Internet service at CompuServe in 1979 and have been supercharged by the potential of the Internet and social media services ever since.Bill Louden is a seasoned leader, strategist, and visionary thinker with over 40 years’ experience in business development, operations management, international expansion, software development, C-level company operations, and US and UK board positions.* Cofounder and public face of the CompuServe Information Service, Founder and chief executive Genie online at GE. Led startup, operations and international expansion.* Developed the first online multiplayer game, MegaWars, as well as produced over 20 multiplayer games from 3rd party authors.* Produced and led development of the first social medial platforms, Forums, CB simulator, SoftEX.* Led Delphi Internet’s migration to the web (acquired by News Corporation) and expansion to the UK. Led migration of The Sunday Times (London) to the web.* President/COO/CFO of public company Preference Technologies.* Executive management and board positions in web-based companies, including Golfweb.com (acquired by CBS Sportline), Looksmart.com, a search engine/portal company. Founded Peer Forward, a peer-to-peer and visualization company.
