ABOUT BILL KIDD

With over five years of experience as a personal trainer and strength coach, I’ve helped clients and athletes reach their full potential through individualized, evidence-based training. I’m currently a Strength and Conditioning Intern with the Arizona Diamondbacks, where I work hands-on with both active roster players and rehab athletes across multiple levels of the organization. My responsibilities include leading warm-ups, coaching weight room sessions, implementing individualized strength and power programs, and supporting the return-to-play process for injured athletes—all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of strength coaches, athletic trainers, and physical therapists. Prior to this, I served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at The Ohio State University, where I worked with Division I athletes across men’s and women’s basketball, men’s hockey, men’s golf, and spirit/cheer. I contributed to performance testing, athlete monitoring, and velocity-based training using tools like Force Plates, Sprint 1080, GymAware, and Tendo Units, helping ensure that programming aligned with each athlete’s needs and sport demands. My background also includes time as a clinical exercise physiology intern, where I gained experience in cardiopulmonary health, patient care, and vital sign monitoring. I’m passionate about helping athletes stay healthy, move better, and perform at their best. My goal is to continue growing in the strength and conditioning field and make a lasting impact at the collegiate or professional level.
