HHS/ASPR/EMMO/DFOR Incident management Team (IMT-MG). Serve as the Agency Representative (AREP) to manage and coordinate deployed resources and public health activities to ensure completion of assigned federal missions during natural or man-made emergencies, incidents, or National Special Security Events (NSSE). Deployed to local or state EOCs to establish communication channels and conduct liaison activities among local, state, and federal public health and medical entities. Facilitate situational awareness and exchange of information to help promote a common operating picture (COP) and a unified response plan. Assist with public health and medical assessment and needs generations, validation, prioritization, and mission assignments processes in close collaboration with FEMA, federal ESF leads, and State and local public health and medical authorities, as appropriate.
