About Bill Gemberling
Looking for opportunities as a technical sales representative in the Greater New York City Area. I have been helping photographers and other artists express themselves using the currently best offered equipment created for imaging since 1997 (approximately). I have been employed by a number of companies noted for this equipment: Nikon, Minolta and Leaf (a division of Kodak’s Graphics Communication division at that time). I have been privileged to be educated by some notable teachers over this time, including: Katrin Eisman, Brian P. Lawler, Vincent Versace, et.al. I founded Develop Joy in 2014 to continue my efforts to share knowledge that helps others develop joy in expressing themselves through photography, as an art form. Since I began in 1997 I have worked with a number of notable artists and institutions that have been integral in my development: Catherine Opie, Xavier Fumat (collaborator with Richard Serra at Gemini GEL), LACMA (Peter Brenner and the Photo Services Department).
