I\'m a product guy with a bad coding habit. I\'ve spent most of my career yelling at computers. Of late, they yell back. It\'s disconcerting, and probably partly my fault.I absolutely love building products and websites from scratch, and have been doing it for almost 20 years. Some people golf. I think, build, learn and iterate. Why stop now?Specialties: Internet product startup executive with 20+ years experience in launching on schedule; expertise in product conception, design and development, business development, social networking, user interface, marketing and public relations, software development, management of geographically dispersed teams and overseas manufacturing; odd passion for dealing with and organizing terabyte-sized datasets; able to talk faster than that guy in the FedEx commercial (John Moschitta, Jr.).and the tools I use to prototype: PHP (expert), Python (learning fast), HTML/CSS/JS/Jquery (of course), Elastic / MySQL / Postgres, D3, Leaflet. Prompt engineering is a new one, though another way to say that is \"writing thorough requirements.\"Also, been using a lot of natural-language processing toolkits (Stanford NLP, NLTK and of course, Watson) and playing with some neural networks for analysis (OpenNN and FANN). Turns out machine learning is useful. Until the robots come for us all.For fun, I make Alexa say embarrassing things, and have her open my garage door when I say \"Open the pod bay doors, HAL.\" Well, I think it\'s fun.
