ABOUT BILL PASKOULES

I possess extensive healthcare experience combining servant leadership, bold vision, business acumen, team building and matrix structures. Leading clinical service lines and operations to problem solve and optimize performance throughout enterprises. My scope includes large scale and national systems or independent organizations. I am an effective communicator and influencer with a style that promotes respect and working closely with boards, donors, executives, community leaders, medical staff and diverse teams to exceed desired outcomes. I have developed and executed aggressive growth strategies, revitalized operational performance, turned around failing enterprise-wide revenue cycle departments, enhanced the patient experience and reduced annual operating cost. Additionally, I have launched multi-site ambulatory clinics, being first to the market.My experience spans community, academic, Catholic health and investor owned hospitals and health organizations. As a systems thinker, market disruptor, value driver, I am at my best developing programs that are transformational, growth oriented and engages stakeholders. I agilely lead change while skillfully navigating complex delivery systems in competitive markets driving bottom line without compromising quality. Community health is part of my career DNA. I fully embrace risk programs and population health management as new platforms of healthcare delivery. Leadership Accomplishments: Pandemic Leadership: Served on the executive command center in the northeast U.S, developing safeguard processes, logistics, converting beds for COVID patients and coordinated daily operations. Developed and executed protocols for delivering treatment in communal living environments, receiving the Governor\'s Commendation and adopted by the state\'s department of health. Service Line Development: Developed two first to market multidisciplinary assessment centers and senior focused emergency rooms. Recruited geriatric physicians and advanced practitioners producing revenue over 38% over proforma revenue, increased market share and drove referrals to other System clinical services/resources.Growth: Developed and launched three de novo, high capacity, in center and peritoneal dialysis centers. Opened additional autism diagnostic and therapy centers. Turn Around: Redesigned inpatient and outpatient Behavioral Health, ED Crisis Assessment, Case Management and medication clinics. Successful turn around of service line revenue cycle led to leading the re-engineering of Revenue Cycle across the enterprise.
