I am an IT Specialist and People Manager on the Assistive Technology Team at TD Bank, which is part of TD\'s HR Diversity initiative. I have been supporting Assistive/Adaptive Technology users for over 11 years in various capacities. Currently I am responsible for the selection, research and certification of all the assistive/adaptive technology solutions used by our employees within TD Bank. My team also supports these solutions once deployed to the users; helping with technical related questions including: installation, training, script writing, and how to. When needed I also assist with accessibility assessments for applications/websites being investigated or used within TD by leveraging my experience and knowledge of current Accessibility Standards.Recently I have been operating in a consulting capacity, helping project teams understand Accessibility Standards and how to integrate them into the PDLC.
