About Bill Williams
PhD biophysics University of California Berkeley University of Illinois Urbana. Dr. Williams is a Senior Scientist with over 35 years of consulting experience. He provides Human Health and Ecological risk expertise to the Firm and oversight to the Biological and Ecological groups situated in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, WA, offices and provides a link to those disciplines throughout the firm. He supports the Environmental and Natural Resource Damage Assessment projects and risk mitigation strategies. Dr. Williams’ technical background focuses on environmental risk, including ecological and human health risk assessment, natural resource damage assessments, and project management. He has also worked extensively on numerous CERCLA and NPL sites projects, including restoration based natural resource damage assessments. He has managed projects in population-based effects of metals, pesticides, inorganics, and petroleum product wastes in terrestrial and aquatic systems. Dr. Williams has managed numerous large projects addressing concerns associated with pulp and paper mill effluents, chemical manufacturing, municipal waste treatment facilities, petroleum refinery effluents, and agricultural run-off (insecticides, herbicides). Dr. Williams has worked on numerous risk assessments across the USA with a focus on providing defensible and realistic evaluation of environmental injury and natural resource damage assessment claims (OPA and CERCLA).
