Alta Mira is a residential treatment center whose Mission is to provide hope, strength and inspiration for individuals and families suffering from addiction and seeking to transform their lives. We offer the highest levels of clinical and diagnostics services, including extensive neuropsychological testing, and customize each clients treatment based on his or hers diagnosis. We also provide a broad selection of holistic services and experiential therapies that help our clients heal and recover. Our program is founded on an innovative \"brain healthy\" curriculum that addresses the neurobiological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of addiction.Muir Wood Adolescent & Family Services is a gender specific, residential treatment program designed specifically for boys age 12-17 suffering from substance abuse and co-occurring issues. Located on six acres in beautiful Sonoma County, California, the six bed campus provides adolescent boys a safe structured environment to explore sensitive underlying issues within a highly credentialed clinical setting. In designing the most effective treatment program for adolescent boys, Muir Wood combines an exceptional clinical team and treatment practices with other proven therapeutic and experiential modalities. Based on evidence supporting gender-specific residential adolescent treatment, our philosophy emphasizes kindness and respect over confrontation or control. We create the conditions that allow boys to feel valued, engaged and willing to begin a productive life in recovery.
