About Bill Powell
After spending several years in public service, I am pleased to be back in the private practice of law with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. As a United States Attorney, I sought justice in high-stakes criminal activities, including drug conspiracies, national security matters, murder, and major fraud cases. Prior to my public service, my practice involved bet-the-company civil defense and high-profile prosecution. The common denominator in all of my experience is that I am solutions driven and understand when to take a stand and fight and when a different approach is warranted.
