   Provide leadership and direction for plant maintenance, design, construction, Regional Operation Center and FCC compliance across the Region. · Responsible for all outside plant construction, rebuilds/upgrades and rural FTTH builds across the Region. · Responsible for capital budget and forecasting planning and manage departmental expenses for the Region. · Create, implement and enhance consistent practices to ensure stable service delivery aligned with company initiatives and expectations. · Facilitate cross functional communications within the Region as well as interface with the Corporate Network Operations team on product optimization and deployment which supports the Region. · Evaluate and consult with senior management regarding strategic planning of rebuilds and system extensions, network, and new product development and deployment for the Region. Oversee and report on the preventative and demand maintenance programs for the Region. · Other ongoing responsibilities include the following. Ensure adherence to company safety standards. Audit and hold teams accountable for field compliance with corporate engineering standards, policies and procedures. Oversight for fiber restoration and best practice implementation for the Region. Responsible for quality control programs for construction that are consistent procedures for the Region. Lead and execute disaster recovery readiness and support for the Region.
